DESIGN OF A WEB-BASED FINGERPRINT EMPLOYEE PRESENCE SYSTEM

Abstract

Technology has an important role in work activities, especially in the employee attendance process. The aim of this research is to design an employee attendance system using an Arduino fingerprint sensor on a server computer with a controller module. Using the waterfall method includes requirements, design, coding, testing. Meanwhile, the process of collecting attendance data so far is still manual, using signatures as proof of attendance, so the process of recording attendance is very vulnerable to fraudulent manipulation and human error.
