Abstract

ABSTRACT Accessibility issues for disabled people are deeply concerned by the demands of a universal design where something that restricts a person to engage in motion activity or impede the freedom of space can be freed up with a provisioning facility that meets Universal design principles. Defects still conform to accessibility needs Building or outside the building. Many public facilities only provide some access and facilities according to their special abilities. Even the green open space in the form of Kotapun Park is still not friendly with defects. Although the city park complies with spatial regulations No. 24 of the 1992 is an important place that is an active playground for children and adults, passive relaxation for adults, and even as a green conservation area. This research aims to analyze how the implementation of 7 universal Design Principles in Taman Menteng. Keywords: Accessibility, Difable, Public, Taman Menteng. ABSTRAK Masalah Aksesibilitas bagi orang cacat sangat prihatin dengan tuntutan desain universal di mana sesuatu yang membatasi seseorang untuk melakukan aktivitas gerak atau menghambat kebebasan ruang dapat dibebaskan dengan suatu fasilitas penyediaan yang memenuhi prinsip desain Universal. Kecacatan masih sesuai dengan kebutuhan aksesibilitas Gedung atau di luar gedung. Banyak fasilitas publik hanya menyediakan beberapa akses dan fasilitas sesuai kemampuan khusus mereka. Bahkan ruang terbuka hijau berupa Taman Kota pun masih belum bersahabat dengan adanya cacat. Meskipun taman kota sesuai dengan peraturan tata ruang No. 24 dari 1992 adalah tempat penting yang merupakan Taman Bermain yang aktif untuk anak dan orang dewasa, relaksasi pasif untuk orang dewasa, dan bahkan sebagai daerah konservasi lingkungan hijau. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa bagaimana penerapan 7 prinsip universal Design di Taman Menteng. Kata kunci: Aksesbilitas, Difabel, Public, Taman Menteng.
