Abstract

ABSTRACT Global warming is a phenomenal issue faced by the community, one of which is caused by the construction industry such as building construction which has the potential to have a negative impact on the environment. One of the efforts that can be done to deal with these conditions is the concept of implementing green building. The establishment of the Indonesian Green Building Council (GBCI) as an internationally recognized certification body is the government's effort to promote the concept of environmentally friendly buildings. With the Eco-campus concept, it is one of the buildings that includes the application of the green building concept, namely the concept of environmental management in the campus area by involving all the academic community. Several state universities in Jakarta are vying for recognition of the green campus. This study aims to evaluate the extent of the application of green building in the lecture building of the National Institute of Science and Technology ( ISTN ) and to evaluate the success rate of implementing green building in the lecture building of the National Institute of Science and Technology. Key Words: Green Building, Greenship GBCI, National Institute of Science and Technology. ABSTRAK Pemanasan global menjadi isu fenomenal yang dihadapi masyarakat salah satunya disebabkan oleh industri konstruksi seperti pembangunan gedung yang berpotensi dampak negatif terhadap lingkungan. Salah satu upaya yang dapat di lakukan untuk menangani kondisi tersebut muncul konsep penerapan green building. Berdirinya lembaga Green Building Council Indonesia (GBCI) sebagai lembaga sertifikasi yang diakui secara internasional yang merupakan upaya pemerintah dalam menggalakkan konsep bangunan gedung yang ramah lingkungan..Dengan adanya Konsep Eco-campus merupakan salah satu bangunan yang mencakup penerapan konsep green building yaitu konsep pengelolaan lingkungan hidup diwilayah kampus dengan melibatkan semua civitas akademika. Beberapa perguruan tinggi negeri di Jakarta berlomba-lomba untuk mendapatkan pengakuan Kampus hijau. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi sejauhmana penerapan green building pada gedung perkuliahan Institut Sains dan Teknologi Nasional dan mengevaluasi tingkat keberhasilan penerapan green building pada gedung perkuliahan Institut Sains dan Teknologi Nasional. Kata Kunci: Green Building, Greenship GBCI, Institut Sains dan Teknologi Nasional.
