Abstract

Intersystem handover is one of technology that possible for a user equipment move from GERAN to UTRAN network versa verse. This paper will analyse how far the successfulness handover on GERAN and UTRAN network, so it could support the mobile customer demand. Analyse for call success rate, drop call rate, intersystem handover success rate, intersystem failure rate and intersystem drop rate in both of network system are done for get a ratio of successfulness intersystem handover, such as from cause of its failure. Condition of network equipment or user equipment is one of causes. Number of adjacencies cells determine successfulness a handover process, which is more adjacencies cells mean bigger network coverage but it will give more delay for call setup process.
