Abstract
Fonokardiograf is an instrument to record the sound of heart pumping activity. These voices express indication of the rate of the heart that is useful to provide information about the effectiveness of the pumping activity of the heart and heart valves. Until now, the instrument used for the clinical detection of heart sounds are acoustic stethoscope. Acoustic stethoscope has a weakness, that depends on each doctor's hearing so that the diagnosis can vary because of the sensitivity of the ear every doctor is different. The development of an electronic stethoscope is an acoustic stethoscope that can record sound on the intensity of the small and the great frequency, with an electronic stethoscope differences in physician diagnosis can be reduced with the addition of an amplifier, so that a small sound can be amplified up to be heard clearly by the examining physician. But with an electronic stethoscope, doctors have not been able to solve the problems that exist because of physical abnormalities of the heart can not be detected with certainty only by relying on sound is heard. Therefore, in this thesis will be discussed on a PC-based tool fonokardiograf where the tool is the analysis of heart sounds can be displayed in the form of sound and graphics to the monitor.
