Abstract

This community service project focused on addressing the health issues of the residents of Cendana Residence, particularly in the detection and prevention of degenerative diseases. The primary objective was to provide free health examinations and early detection services to enhance awareness and promote proactive health management among the community members. The approach involved setting up a health check-up station at U-Med Pharmacy in Pamulang, South Tangerang, where residents could receive comprehensive health assessments, including blood pressure monitoring, blood sugar tests, and consultations regarding degenerative disease risk factors. The results of this service indicated a significant need for regular health monitoring in the community, as many residents were identified as being at risk for degenerative conditions. The initiative successfully raised health awareness and encouraged early intervention, contributing to better health outcomes in the community.
