Abstract
The phenomenon of changes in consumer behavior towards core services from voice services and value added services such as SMS and MMS to data services has forced telecommunications operators to transform from being dump pipes into digital service providers such as Mobile Advertising (M-Ads). However, there are problems that occur in the implementation of Mobile Advertising (M-Ads). This problem occurs due to the delivery of M-Ads content that does not match the location and IMEI of the intended subscriber's handset, so subscribers often consider it spamming. Therefore, we need an optimization that can fix problems when sending M-Ads. In this paper, optimization of content delivery for M-Ads has been carried out by filtering the location & IMEI handset subscribers. Optimization is carried out using a Location Based Advertising (LBA) system based on IMEI filtering. Based on the experimental results, senders/advertisers successfully send mobile advertisements using SMS & MMS services to subscribers/subscribers according to the location & IMEI of the intended customer's handset.
